How much does a private boat charter on Lake Simcoe cost?

Lake Simcoe boat charter pricing starts at $195 per hour with a 2 hour minimum. Discounts are available for multi hour bookings.

Where do Captain Sandy charters depart from?

Captain Sandy charters depart from Friday Harbour in Innisfil on Lake Simcoe.

Is a Captain included in the price? Any extra fees?

Yes a Captain is included in the fees and there are no extra fees for things like gas, water, pop, etc.

What Should I Bring?

We recommend bringing the following items to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience:

• Swimsuits, water shoes, towels, sunglasses, hats, small cooler, suncreen and a light jacket for evening charters

Is Alcohol Allowed?

Alcohol is permitted while the boat is anchored. However, in accordance with regulations, alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while the vessel is in motion.

Can I Bring Food?

Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own food. For convenience, we suggest keeping meals simple—items such as hot dogs and hamburgers are ideal for grilling.

Is There a Restroom Onboard?

Yes, the vessel is equipped with an restroom (head) for your convenience.

Is There an option to stop and relax/swim?

Yes, we can get into some shallow waters or a sandbar to anchor and just enjoy the day or hop into the water to cool off.

Is it family friendly?

Yes, most of our charters are geared towards families with children who want to get out and enjoy a day on the water.

What happens if the weather does not co-operate?

We monitor weather conditions closely. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule your booking at no additional cost to a mutually agreed date and time. 

How many charters have you completed?

We have completed over 15 charters since May of 2026 with more to come as we get into the busy season.
